I like to wear in SL what I’m wearing in RL. Call me quirky, but why not? Anyway, it’s been very cold outside and I LOVE my peacoat! I’ve been looking for one in SL for quite a while until I came across this one at Coco a few weeks ago. I think it’s a great addition to my inventory. The knit cap is also from Coco. There’s nothing worse than the stinging pain of cold ears as the wind whips against them!
So I’ve seen some guys that wear long hair (right above the waist or lower) What’s up with that? I mean the mullet will never make a come back (Thank God), but this is almost as bad.
As promised, here’s what I’m talking about… All I can do is shake my head and say “Really??? Come on man!?”
From my about page:
I decided on “SLGQ” in honor of GQ magazine. The great thing about SL is you can be anything you want to be. An Elf, ghetto, a supermodel, the sky is really the limit. I think that’s the draw of SL. For me, like my RL, I like to look good. I like style. The women seem to have the huge advantage when it comes to style in SL. The RL fashion world gets quickly copied to SL (and the SL designers do an awesome job I might add). The likes of Jimmy Choo, Christian Louboutin, Fendi, and Yves St. Laurent would be proud.
The men’s side is another story. There’s lots of great designers, it’s just that they’re harder to come by. I’m not interested in blogging about crap, as I mentioned, I like looking good. This blog… Second Life’s Gentlemen’s Quarterly won’t all be about preppy suits, but it will be about quality. I hope you enjoy.
We’ll here’s my first post. My photoshop skills leave a little something to be desired, but they’ll get better. Just a little something casual I’ve been hanging out in.
